Modernizing and improving the iconic modernist estate.

Challenge
To improve fire safety, performance and functionality whilst respecting the architectural integrity of the Grade 2 listed estate.

Solution
We collaborated closely with fire engineers, sustainability consultants on engineering solutions whilst intensively consulting with heritage and conservation experts. All design proposals were grounded in a thorough understanding of the original design principles, respecting the original design intent whilst complying with current building standards. Work included:

- Fire Door Replacement
- Funding Application for the Library Refurbishment
