We are delighted to announce the start of reForm Architects exciting collaboration with the Dutch firm IAA Architecten! Nik Randall (Managing Director of reForm Architects) and Harry Abels (Managing Director of IAA Architecten) have previously jointly delivered a number of widely published and award winning projects – so rekindling this relationship is an exciting move for us as a practice.

More specifically, IAA Architecten and reForm Architects have joined forces for a design competition of a mixed use scheme in Central London. The brief calls for a primary school and social housing to be combined into an informed and successful design taking into account all contextual and programmatic parameters. The design process is a fantastic opportunity to gain varying perspectives and viewpoints on residential and education typology with the two firms bringing different approaches to the table. Ultimately it will enable us to end up with a proposal that we feel will both be hugely creative and innovative in approach to heavily constrained site!

The collaboration is a fantastic opportunity for reForm Architects to combine their skills and talents with a large international practice. The combined 45 years’ experience of both company’s directors spanning over many sectors, combining innovative techniques and design stances should prove to be a healthy and symbiotic relationship in the future.
